Joggers, 2 Ways.

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ve probably noticed by now that wearing your active-wear out is a big trend for Fall. Today I’ve put together two different looks around this trend… one for the office (yes, you can get away with this… if you work in a more casual environment) and then a more regular take… for running errands during the day.

I was intimidated by wearing joggers outside of errands/the gym, and (here’s a little secret) anytime I’m intimidated by a texture or a silhouette, I go for an all-black version. It makes it a lot more manageable. So for the first outfit, I took Old Navy’s jogger pants (in black, of course) and paired them with three of my favorite staples (also all in black) – my Tibi Camisole, Helmut Lang Blazer, and Madewell Heels.) Easy. I honestly don’t think my coworkers would even notice that I’m wearing joggers.

And then, for my second look, we could say that this is my (definitely less fashionable) go-to look when I need to just get stuff done! Comfy Chucks, my favorite slub-knit sweater, and a big tote to hold everything. Sidenote – I kinda want to DIY this one… it’s coated canvas and would be so easy to paint a stripe or monogram… very Goyard.

  3. 1. Obsessed with both looks. Like, a lot.
    2. Can we have a tote painting DIY party? I think that’s the bag I want to use for the baby (once it arrives, naturally).

  10. So wearing joggers in real life makes me nervous too. Black definitely seems like the most manageable color though and I love how you styled them. Hopefully I can pull them off. Wish me luck and thanks for the outfit ideas! -Jacquin
