Totally Worth It.

Stuart-Weitzman-Nordstrom-Shoes

This Fall I’ve been a lot more mindful of my spending and the one big purchase I made this Fall was my Stuart Weitzman 5050 Boots in Black Napa. (You’ve seen here and here.) They are hands down, the best boots I own. They fit your legs like a glove, look good with everything, and the construction and leather is beautiful. I’d rather spend my money once on something I can wear forever (I’m a frequent customer at the cobbler, getting a thin tread placed on the bottom of all my fancy shoes every year) than buy something again and again. This is my third pair of Stuart Weitzman boots (last year I bought his Highland Boots in Black Suede and the 5050 Boots on sale in tan leather) and it is safe to say that I am a (super)fan of the brand. Completely and 100% worth the money.

Nordstrom has an amazing assortment of Stuart Weitzman shoes + boots, which I am highlighting today. Besides the boots I have, I also love his Lowland Boots… and also, the Nudist Sandals. I can’t tell if they’ll be comfortable though, so I need to actually try them on. (If you have a pair of the Nudist sandals I would love it if you’d share your experience with them!)

thank you to Nordstrom for sponsoring this post.

Totally agree! So glad I bought the 5050 boots, which are great quality and look amazing. My regular boots have been relegated to the back of my closet now – I’m all about the over the knee look, or the bootie look.

I am taking the plunge and trying on the 5050s today. I’ve found them at an excellent price ($480!!) and need to figure out my size.

FYI, I took the plunge on the Stuart Weitzman “Naked” – it’s an inch shorter than the “Nudist” – for my engagement party. I LOVE them. Don’t let the photos fool you… they are fab in person, and comfy! Have a great weekend, Grace. XO

Hi Grace! I just got my 50/50’s at ShopBops amazing Black Friday sale and have a question about sizing since you’ve had your for a bit – I am normally a 9 in boots but went with an 8 1/2 as it said to size down. They fit great in the toe and leg but are a little tight in the width – have you found them to stretch at all? I’ll stick with the 8 1/2’s if I know they stretch a bit but am wondering if I should get the 8 1/2 w – but of course I can’t find those on sale! Sorry for the long winded question and thanks in advance! -another Grace 🙂

      Hi Grace!
Oooh… hmmm… I’m not entirely sure as these fit my foot like a glove (but my feet are wide by the toes and narrow through the heels) and I never had to hope if they’d stretch at all. That being said, I’ve always found that if a shoe doesn’t fit perfectly, it’s good to return/size up. I’ve had so many times where I hoped the shoe would stretch (and it didn’t) and felt sad about it later because I didn’t wear the shoes. So if I were you, I’d go for the wide. Better to get them not on sale and have them be perfect – you’ll wear them more.

Another suggestion is to consult a professional… a lot of cobblers are able to stretch shoes out… that might be worth exploring!

      Just my $.02! xx
