My Ten Favorite Face Masks.

the top 10 best face masks of 2017 | the stripe

I am such a face mask girl. Really, there is nothing better (or more luxurious) than a night in, a good movie, a glass of wine, and a face mask (or two, for that matter). I get asked a lot for my favorites (specifically, for my favorite drugstore masks) so today I thought I’d cover that. Honestly, I find the face mask selection at the drugstore a bit disappointing (with the exception of these L’Oreal clay masks) which is why I’ve only included two in this round-up, but if you have a great drugstore mask recommendation I would LOVE to hear it… I’ll then try your recommendations and review ’em here! As always, click the image above to learn more or shop… or I’ve linked them by number below!

Also, since initially publishing this post on face masks I’ve found a few more amazing masks you need to try! First, the hanacure face mask is like nothing I’ve ever tried before. Plus the results are amazing! I’m also loving this overnight face mask. It’s great for achieving smoother, softer, & firmer skin.

I’m so guilty of hoarding face masks. I’ve only ever used sheet masks, though, because they’re cheaper, but I’ve been considering the Fresh one you mentioned. I’m definitely going to get it when my salary rolls in!

I’m a huge face mask lover too but I shockingly haven’t tried any of these!! I don’t know which to try first. I’m really into more medicinal looking/feeling things lately so maybe Roloxin?

Grace, happy summer! I’m bummed we didn’t get to connect while I was in NY. Things were a bit hectic with the family. My sister and I are hatching a business idea after our trip to Portugal ( you must go!) my new favorite place in Europe( and I’ve always been crazy about Italy, still am). They make gorgeous shoes, leather goods, jewelry, housewares and the charcuterie, cheese and wine are all so good. I’m looking forward to trying all these masks. I love the Tata Harper thanks to you and the L’Oréal. I want to tell you about the Farmacy coconut masks. After flying into Lisbon, jet lag, my face all red and blotchy, I used the coconut celery one. Amazing. My face was clear and glowing! Super moisturizing, but not oily. I already ordered more from Sephora. Also, my sister purchased the AWAY bag and is thrilled, thanks to me telling her about it from your blog. The staff is super nice and helpful at the Soho location. We also hit up the Zara sale and mo851( they make the most gorgeous leather goods). I have three of their bags, my sister six. Now I’m back home and on a budget. 🙂

It’s not technically a drugstore find…but I think some of the clay masks you can get at Whole Foods are awesome! They’re usually super affordable, come in large sizes, and you can customize them by adding your own essential oils or other liquids. There’s a French green clay powder I bought at WF years ago and it’s still good. I’ve mixed it with yogurt, rosewater, a little honey, essential oils…it’s kinda fun to make up your own based on how your skin is feeling!

That being said…nothing is as good as Tata’s Resurfacing, in my humble opinion. It can even revive tired, cross-country flight skin (I know…because I did it when we were in CHS and it worked miracles!).

Have you tried the Drunk Elephant Babyfacial? Ooh, it’s a game changer for me. Makes my skin SOOO soft for days. I would find myself caressing my own cheek like, “still?!?” It’s actually replaced the Tata Harper Resurfacing Mask in my routine. If you haven’t tried it, hit up Sephora asap and get a sample!

That L’Oreal mask has been one of my favorites since last winter! I wish I had more drugstore favorites, but I’m a slave to Origins Charcoal Mask and the Boscia Sake Hydrogel Mask.

I like face masks, too. I keep on buying them and sometimes I don’t know when to use them, but I can’t help! Sisley masks are for sure among my favorite ones, together with Caudalie’s.

Agreed!!! What is your favorite Caudalie mask? I use their products but not their masks – I’m intrigued.
