My Favorite Target Design Finds.

Okay so first of all, I love Target. LOVE it. Shopping there is obviously nothing new but it’s always more for beauty products + basics (and sometimes swimsuits + workout gear – they do such a good job with both!). That being said, maybe I’ve been living under a rock but as I decorate my new place, they definitely were not on my radar, decor-wise. I went onto their website last week to figure out a solution for the area behind my main door. I keep piling up my shoes there and it looks so sloppy. I wanted to get a cubby with little bins to keep them neat and tidy. I found a great option (this cubby with these bins in sand linen) but ended up going down a deep, dark rabbit hole.

I mean… I’ve always joked that it’s impossible to walk into a Target and not spend $100. You go in for cotton balls and a new toothbrush and walk out with a new lip gloss, three magazines, a swimsuit, a new throw pillow and a cute workout outfit. Right? It can’t be just me. But anyway, in addition to the cubby + bins I bought two of these end tables (they are PERFECT!!) and these metal clips (dumb but they were only $3.99 and will be so good for closing up snacks, etc) and then spent another hour or two on the site just perusing their home stuff. We’ll just call that blog research. 😉

I couldn’t help myself – there were so many well designed, beautiful pieces at great prices. Here are my favorites. I’m really thinking hard about that pink velvet bench (I’d paint/gild the legs as I don’t like the shade of the wood stain) and this arm chair or maybe this sea grass chair. Wish we had Target here in Hong Kong. Those are great finds, I especially love the wood and metal bar cart!

I’m obsessed with Target and decorated my whole apartment in Florida with them and Home Goods since they were next to each other.

Love Nate Burkus line for Target Home!

Cute finds. Homegoods is also a nice place for decor and furniture, with reasonable prices.

Target is so dangerous! I literally go in for nail polish remover and somehow end up buying ingredients for chips and guac. Love their decor section, especially all of the Nate Berkus things!

Soooo dangerous!! I do the same thing every time. It’s impossible to go in and buy just one thing!

Target has been nailing their home decor for a while now. While I do love my fair share of West Elm and other “nicer” brands, I’m not going to lie—a lot of our new home’s decor has come from Target. It’s just so good and matches the style that we could find elsewhere, but at such a better price. We’re like, why not just get the Target version then?? ESPECIALLY their lighting. They have been so successful with their lamp designs for the last couple of years.

I totally agree. And I love mixing high and low. Right now I have an Hermes blanket draped over my couch with the Target end table next to it. Makes me happy!!! They are really doing such a good job.

I have 12 of those clips (went back for more after the initial purchase) and I love them! So nice to have special well-made little things like that, and they make my chips look classy 🙂

I love these finds! Great picks as always!

Those nightstands are exactly what I’ve been looking for – the only thing that holds me back is furniture assembly… 🙁

Omg, I can never get out of Target under $100! You are so right! And literally, their homegoods section is to die for! Such beautiful pieces that you would never know came from Target. I love their little kids’ decor, too, for the future!

Love Target! I think I will get that bar cart for you Grace. I’ve been eyeing it for awhile. Love their lamps! I had three, one finally died after like ten years. The pair in my bedroom are still going strong. I’m actually good at putting IKEA furniture together. I must get that from my dad. He is a retired surgeon, he would have worked on cars, but couldn’t get the grease off for surgery. Meanwhile, he’s an amazing chef, he sews( he reupholstered his old Porsche and made a leather handbag for my grandma) and does carpentry. He’s also the best packer I know. I can’t claim all his talents, but we are all ” good with our hands”. I love all your Target finds. I wish I had a new place to redecorate sometimes!
