To celebrate the launch of The Stripe (as well as my fifth anniversary of blogging), I wanted to do something special, and so I decided to throw a party last Thursday.
A few days later, I’m still pinching myself looking through the photos and seeing how well everything came together (and how many people came out!) It was such an amazing, memorable night and one that I will always remember. I couldn’t have done any of it without the help of my friend Alex (she does this for a living) or our amazing venue, Sweethaus (they went over and above… hello, DIY macaron station!)
Zonin Prosecco provided us with delicious Italian Prosecco… glasses for the more conventional; mini bottles with a straw for the rest of us!
And BaubleBar provided a layering bar. While we/they are known for all their chunky statement necklaces, the delicate necklaces are on fire right now (or should I say on fleek — I just learned what that meant the other day.) Guests were able to layer on a few of their favorite delicates and take them home!
And a massive thank you to our flower sponsor, UrbanStems. They provided us with the most gorgeous bouquets… If you live in New York or DC, definitely check them out… they deliver the loveliest bouquets (in just an hour!) for only $35.00. Also, if you use “GRACE5,” you can take $5 off!
And the gift bags… they were kind of amazing if I do say myself! I only reached out to a handful of my favorite brands as I wanted to make sure everything inside the bag was something I really loved! A huge huge thanks goes out to our gift bag sponsors:
- Birchbox, who provided each guest with a Birchbox
- Ron Robinson, who gave his new (amazing) Velvet Rope Candle (it smells like vanilla, grapefruit, and jasmine – yum!)
- Minnie & Emma, who provided guests with a set of the cutest “I Love Stripes” Notecards from their new “We Love Stripes” collection.
- Tata Harper, who provided gift cards and sample packs!
My parents even came to town, making the trek up from Cape Cod.
How great are these “I <3 the Stripe Trays!” (thanks to Minnie & Emma)
The DIY Macaron station was a hit!
