Sunglasses are a funny thing. They’re oftentimes the last thing on our minds, yet one of the most important elements of our look/outfit. I personally tend to forget about them… and I have funny rules about them (for example, if I’m wearing my hair curly/natural, I refuse to wear sunglasses because I think it looks too busy. I know. I’m a lunatic.) The thing is, this time of year, eyewear is particularly important. Aside from aesthetics/looking good and being a great everyday accessory, there’s the protective factor (hello snow glare!) And if I forget about my shades, I often arrive at the office with watery eyes from the wind & cold.
So besides being an (often overlooked) important finishing touch, they’re actually very necessary! I’ve teamed up with Foster Grant for the rest of the year to style some of their eyewear. They have a ton of styles, and the best part? Most pairs are under $30! If you’re not familiar with the brand, you should be. They have the coolest story. The brand has been around for years and years and years… they actually (seriously!) sold the first ever pair of sunglasses (over 85 years ago on the Atlantic City boardwalk. Since then, they’ve maintained their position as leading provider of eyewear. Annnd, over time, Sophia Lauren, Elvis, and Brooke Shields have all worn the brand.
This pair of aviators is a favorite of mine (I’ve always found I look best in either aviators or an oversized silhouette.)

I’m terrible at keeping track of my sunglasses/accidentally crushing them, so I tend to stick with cheaper versions and these fit the bill 😉 Checking out these ankle pants now!
Beautiful look! I love your yellow coat and the sunglasses!

I LOVE sunglasses, can’t live without them. I used to think it was crazy how people owned more than one pair, but I’ve totally jumped to that ship. I love buying crazy ones just for the fun of it. Your coat here looks gorgeous 🙂
Love the yellow coat!

Stretch? I’m obviously getting these pants.
I never leave the house without my sunglasses (I often have 2 pairs in my bag at all times). They’re such a part of my look and if I’m wearing them, that must mean it’s sunny out – which makes for a great day;)
Love your look!
