The Best Gifts for Him: 2024

The Best Gifts for Him 2024

Why oh why are the men in our life so hard to shop for!? Today’s gift guide is for the guys in your life. These are just ideas. Gift guides are tricky as the best gifts are ultra-personal. My boyfriend loves sailing and surfing, so I try to do something around those themes. (He also never buys himself nice clothes, so I do that too!). My dad is an amateur harmonica player, so I always ask him to send me a list of what he’s in the market for (he always has an amp or accessory of some sort that he is eyeing). So, personal is definitely best, BUT these are some good thought-starters! I hope it helps!

The best gifts for him 2024.

monogrammed (refillable) notepad

These Mark & Graham notepads are so nice. I have a partnership with the brand coming on Instagram and as a part of that, I “designed” a notepad for my boyfriend (standard gold embossing) and my best friend (fun painted on letters). Add to that it’s under $100 and refillable? Perfection!

Knife Set + stand

I cannot say enough good things about everything Material makes, but this knife stand and knives are the best. I got my set back when I was living in Brooklyn (so maybe five years ago?), and they are perfect. So I surprised my boyfriend with a set (the big 8″ knife, the bread knife, the baby knife) this weekend and he was so happy. I think that for most people, good knives are something they really appreciate but won’t necessarily invest in. Plus, the brand is having a sale through 12/3 making the trio set just $158; a really good deal!

lego Porsche

You know what they say, boys love their toys… how fun is this lego Porsche? I think this would make a great gift, but honestly these lego sets are a great way to come up with a personal gift idea. Lego’s “icons” section offers up so many cool ideas.. there is something for everyone!

mlb candle

A candle with his favorite baseball team is a cute little extra gift. The scents sound fantastic, too!

a 16oz. mug

This mug is really beautiful, but here is a fun (and maybe a little bit cheesy) fact. My boyfriend and I make it a point to buy each other matching mugs. That way when we are apart, we can have our coffee together. It’s a real hodge-podge: The Palm Springs art museum, Santa Fe… these are much prettier.

striped trouser socks

Honestly, socks are always a good idea! This pair from Bode is a little bit playful; a lot luxurious.

watch storage box

For the man who truly has everything/collects nice watches, this storage box is really beautiful.

pickleball paddle

Short Court Sports is my friend’s company. He is a lawyer by day, a pickleball aficionado, and started Short Court as his side gig. Short Court makes what I think is the very best pickleball paddles and it has been super fun to watch this small business grow. They just opened up a shop at the Charleston Place hotel; incredible!

a durable briefcase

This waxed canvas briefcase is equal parts rugged and professional? It feels very modern (who really carries an old school briefcase anymore!?) in that it could transition to a more casual environment (travel, airplane personal item, etc.)

heavyweight jacket

Carly found this beautiful heavyweight jacket and I think it would be such a great gift. One of those gorgeously made forever pieces with thoughtful little details.

cashmere sweater

My boyfriend does not know this yet but he will be getting some Guest in Residence for Christmas. Their cashmere is just so, so soft. I have two sweaters from them and they are heaven. More of a splurge, but worth it IMO. We have a code: GRACE15 for 15% off. Other wardrobe favorites any guy will love: Faherty’s Legend sweater shirts (the greatest; I’ve bought them for my bf, my dad, both brothers-in-law), this beautiful zip-up sweater from Sid Mashburn,.

an everyday tee

I got my bf some of these Marine Layer tees for his birthday. They have a nice sale thing where if you buy three, you can take 20% off. He likes how comfy they are; I like how they look. These slub tees from Rowan are fantastic too.

hair pomade

I got this hair pomade for my boyfriend and he really likes it. It would make a great stocking stuffer! Use code GRACE15 for a discount!

skincare set

I have been slowly getting my bf into skincare (it’s a journey!) and he loves these Kiehl’s products. They are effective + contain caffeine to perk up the skin.

a seasonal candle

Not every guy is going to want an fancy candle but honestly, it is a nice touch. This is my current favorite fancy holiday candle as it smells exactly like a Christmas tree. The packaging is neutral enough to work in anyone’s home.

Grace, the mug idea/ritual is the cutest! Love the little glimpses into how you guys manage being apart. Great gift guide in general, too!
