This list could also be a list of things I want (or favorite things I own), ha! Special gifts I would want for myself, things I’d get for my mom or my sisters, my close girlfriends, etc. Little luxuries! I hope you enjoy (and maybe find something for your own wish list).
The best gifts for HER 2024.
Martinique travel case
This travel case comes in all sorts of pretty patterns, but I especially love the combination of the Martinique leaves (iconic to The Beverly Hills Hotel!) and red monogram.
A design book
This book is the absolute coolest. I am somehow lucky enough to be on Phaidon’s press list and received an early copy. I gasped when I opened it up. It does not come out until 12/3 but that is plenty of time for the holidays! The book is a) really beautiful… covered in gorgeous chartreuse colored fabric, with metallic chartreuse and b) informative (a guide to the best hotels in the world!). Highly recommend.
bath stones
The Kate McLeod bath stones were such a favorite last year (I got them for my mom, my sisters, and a few girlfriends) that I had to include them again this year. I love them. The eucalyptus “breathe” scent is beyond and they are so hydrating. If I drop two in the bath, I can skip moisturizer afterward. An alternative way to use them is to rub one all over your body in the shower!
A (LEGO) flower Bouquet
Maybe I have been spending too much time with the kids in my lifem but I love Lego’s more grown-up stuff so much! We featured the Porsche in yesterday’s gift guide for the guys, and this flower bouquet is awesome. I am personally still finishing up the orchid.
baroque pearl Drop earrings
Carly found these freshwater pearl earrings… aren’t they stunning? I love that the designer also incorporates wood… the studs are made from pine. Handmade in Venice, CA!
Klur’s body Oil
This heavenly body oil is from one of my favorite Black-owned small businesses and it is all out amazing. The scent is beyond and it is super hydrating and rich. The bottle isn’t very big but a little goes a long way. I love layering it over this Vitamin C body serum.
wool sweater
Caron Callahan has become a recent favorite. I bought a couple dresses earlier this fall and they are both gorgeous. She creates beautiful but unfussy clothing, and I like that her brand is still a little bit under the radar. I really love the look of this sweater. The shape has a super unique feel (the back has a v-neck as well).
Augustinus Bader Set
Of course, I had to include my favorite moisturizer. This set is a very good price!
Emerald bezel bracelet
This Dorsey bracelet is one of the latest additions to my wrist stack. Besides the fact that it is one of my most favorite gemstones, I love that it feels a little bit festive! Other emerald favorites from Dorsey include my most favorite ring (I wear this nearly every day) and these earrings. All very well priced for what they are. If you are curious about lab grown stones you can read my initial Dorsey review!
a catchall tray
This tortoise tray is a stunner, something that will look beautiful on any vanity (or entryway). Besides picking up a beautiful gift, you’re also supporting a small business (based in Asheville, NC) that was impacted by the hurricane earlier this year.
Maison d’Etto perfume
I just got this very special fragrance and love it so much. The perfect cozy winter scent and my god, how gorgeous is that bottle?
A Velvet Jewelry Box
For the woman who has everything and is maybe a bit of a jewelry collector, how about something to store her treasures. I love a pretty velvet jewelry box. This one or this one are both so pretty and special. I bought myself this one last year and really love it. I also love these jewelry trays from Chan Luu.
Spa Robe
You can’t go wrong with a great bathrobe! This spa robe from Lake is a newer favorite, but I also really love their cozy robe (I have the white got it for my mother in pale green!). The cozy robe is truly the softest thing ever. I love that it is super soft and warm but it isn’t bulky at all. Sometimes my big cozy robes make me look and feel a little bit Sasquatch! This striped robe (pictured in the collage above!) is another great option from a cool small biz!
facial steamer
I love my facial steamer so much. Besides the fact that it feels really good on my skin, steam is great for your skin as it opens up your pores. My favorite way to use it is to slip into my bathrobe (maybe this one) post shower, put on a movie or TV show, perch this on the coffee table, and STEAM. Apply your favorite serums and moisturizer afterward. Your skin will be softer, and your serums will penetrate better!
