Happy Monday, friends! I hope everyone had a good weekend – mine was verrrrrry light on plans as my week was so packed with events and such. I finally started in on Season 2 of Handmaid’s Tale (so good!) and got outside a bit.
Today we are talking about Spring dresses! With Mother’s Day, graduation, weddings, and Spring + Summer parties coming up, I’ve been picking up a few affordable dresses that I can rotate between. Macy’s is your dress destination this Spring and I’d say they’ve accomplished that goal as they have so many pretty, affordable options for under $150! I immediately gravitated toward this little dress from Taylor. I love the sheer overlay (it’s two pieces – a black slip and a sheer floral dress that ties at the waist, and the pretty lace details at the hem. I’ve said this before but for my body type my ideal dress is short with 3/4 sleeves. I’m a little self conscious about my arms but like showing my legs.
Besides this one, I have a few other favorites… this black lace dress which would be perfect for work parties + events, this navy dotted dress which is just so flirty and fun, and this blue + white dress (love anything blue + white and the broderie anglaise trim makes me think of Zimmermann!
But maybe the best part… Macy’s is in the middle of their giant Friends & Family Sale – take 30% off through May 7th!
Unrelated but Trent and I shot these photos in DUMBO and I love how they turned out. DUMBO is so pretty this time of year!
