With the exception of this scarf (a gift), I’m actually not wearing anything new in this outfit. Here lies the funny thing about blogging – this industry has gotten to be so much about showcasing new arrivals (which is really fun, don’t get me wrong!) but the hallmark of a good wardrobe is not having to shop very much because you have all the classic pieces that will never go out of style and can just add a few good new things to your wardrobe every season. Pieces like these!
I am rambling, but all of these things = my favorite things. A classic trench (yes, it’s Burberry, but you don’t have to splurge on Burberry – this Topshop one is a-m-a-z-i-n-g and only $150.), a great t-shirt, jeans that flatter your body type, and high heels (I just love heels… yes, flats are surely more comfortable but I’ll always be a heels girl… even my favorite sneakers have a bit of a platform!)
And of course a little vintage Chanel never hurts but certainly isn’t necessary: this Tory Burch bag is so similar, and this little Topshop bag is under $50 and could pass for Chloe. It’s just about getting the colors right… when in doubt, add a pop of red!
Outfit Details: Burberry Trench Coat // Socialite Tee // Paige Flares // Celine Sunglasses // Vintage Chanel Purse // Manolo Blahnik Pumps // Heidi Wynne Scarf (c/o)
PS – Have you heard of Heidi Wynne? If not, check her out. She makes the most insanely gorgeous, soft cashmere scarves… and pretty basket bags, too. I am in love. My friend Permele connected us – I complimented her straw bag and she connected us… little did I know it would lead to me owning the softest cashmere scarf I’ve ever laid eyes on!

I still have yet to hop onto this trend myself, but the flares look good on you!

Love everything about this outfit! Très chic! What is the color of your nail polish?
I’m so sorry but I don’t remember! It’s a navy blue gel manicure from Primp & Polish… I forgot to look at what the color was!
