The Basics.

TAN_3

The word “basic” is having a moment right now. And every girl is saying to herself… “Crap, am I basic?” And know what?  I think I am indeed, a little bit basic. And I’m totally okay with that… (though you won’t find me drinking a pumpkin spice latte anytime soon.) Style is about knowing who you are and dressing for yourself, and I’m fine with being (only a little bit) basic. As far as the other meaning for “basic”, I am wearing several of my favorite Fall basics today. The blazer that goes with everything, a great man’s shirt (that can be thrown in the wash and just gets better + more rumpled with time), and my ripped black skinny jeans. The perfect Fall outfit, if you ask me!

Happy Fridayyyyy – I hope you all have fun plans (or no plans… which is the case for me tonight!)

I’m totally basic too, and I embrace that. Sometimes the basics (clothing AND people) are the best ones 😉

It’s a Sisley lip crayon. I think the color is berry! It’s the darker red one.

I’m SO not basic, but I do love me some basics. I love this blazer so much, and that Chanel brooch. GORGEOUS.
