The Trusted Classics.

1 - Girl Sitting Outside

A lot of times, when shooting outfit photos I try to come with creative and interesting outfit combos, but the truth is, I feel most comfortable wearing my classic and most “trusted” items. Three of those items would be… my J.Crew Regent Blazer (highly recommended… and it’s finally back in stock in camel – so RUN and get it!), my Margaret O’Leary cashmere wrap, and my favorite jeans (bought over the holidays.) The jeans were one of those rare in-store purchases (I buy nearly all of my clothing online) and I just fell in love with them when I tried ’em on. It’s so hard to find that slightly lighter (but still flattering) wash… this pair is it.

Also I’m going to tell you a silly little secret. Lydia (my photographer) and I have been working on adding more movement to our photos. I was really happy with how this batch of photos turned out… it’s one of my personal favorite outfit posts to date.
