There are a few things we need to discuss today. First off, I wore it in this post but I still don’t feel that we’ve talked about it enough. My shearling coat. I’ve wanted forever and found my dream coat at the Woodbury Commons (my best friend got it too!) but it’s also available here, for a good price (a great price for a shearling jacket – still a huge splurge). If you’ve been dreaming of one too, now could be the time to pull the trigger.
Second, I’ve been trying to buy more cute long-sleeved tops. A weird thing to be so fixated upon, but I don’t have a lot of good “wear with jeans tops” that I can throw on for a date or dinner with my girlfriends. I love this Haute Hippie one. The light blue shade is really pretty and the drape in front is very flattering.
Lastly, Spanx Jeans. Oh man. They are amazing. So flattering. You won’t believe me til you try them yourself, but I just adore these. They’re in the wash right now and I truly miss them.
Outfit Details: Tahari Shearling Coat (more affordable options here + here) // Haute Hippie Blouse (love the sapphire, too) // Spanx Jeans (love the dark rinse too) // Manolo Blahnik Heels // Clare V Clutch // Celine Sunglasses // Loren Hope Earrings
Thanks for the nice words on yesterday’s post. Things have been a little tough but they’re getting better. I spent the day with my grandmother at her rehab facility… naturally, I brought a slew of beauty products with me and we had a very fun time doing sheet masks together and talking.

I love how you put the links to the items in the photo (don’t you like my technical wording? haha).
I used to wear jeans and jeggings in the past but pants with zippers in the front make me really uncomfortable these days and I don’t like jeans all that much (dark wash is alright).
SO I really get your love for Spanx Jeans. I like to wear pull on pants that look like they can be dressed up or down and with a mix of Spanx in there I love how comfortable it makes it 🙂
Very cute on your grandma-granddaughter activity.

I agree with never having a good blouse to wear out to dinner or a date! Could you maybe post more options with different price ranges?

Nice long sleeve shirts are always hard for me to find too… I have button downs and flannels aplenty, but little in the way of nice tops.
Cooper & Ella seem to have pretty tops that look like they’d transition well! I haven’t bought any of their stuff yet, but I’ve been eyeing it for a while…

I love Cooper and Ella too! I’ve tried a few of their tops and am always impressed. I will say that I always size up. I’m usually a medium, often a small.. but I size up to a large because the shoulders are always rather narrow (at least for me).
