If you’ve been reading this blog for long, then you already know about my deep, unwavering love for Sunday Riley’s line of luxurious skincare products. Two to try: Good Genes (instantly wakes up hungover/tired skin) and Juno (the best face oil I’ve ever tried – even better than Rodin and that says a lot.) Naturally, I was beyond excited to hear that she was launching a cosmetics line (exclusively available at Barney’s + Bergdorf.) It won’t be available until February, but mark your calendars now… this stuff is worth getting excited about!
The packaging is (as expected,) luxurious and elegant. Heavy weight glass and gold tone caps.
I don’t usually wear foundation, but I patted on just a few small dabs of the Creme Radiance Breathable Ageless Foundation over my moisturizer, and loved how it blended away each and every imperfection. It’s not heavy at all – definitely breathable. It contains anti-inflammatory ingredients and skin brightening agents, for luminous, doll-like skin.
The lipstick is my favorite product in the line. I tried out Duchess – I loved the name, but mostly, I loved how the color was bright yet still incredibly wearable. The formula is incredibly hydrating, too.
I tried out three of the eyeshadows. These are highly pigmented and go on dry – or wet. Either way, the color pay off is great, but I loved how they look wet. The silver shade looked particularly amazing when applied wet with a bit of black eyeliner.. perfect for a night out!
