I am so proud of my boyfriend. This year, two of his company’s films have been accepted into Sundance: Pariah, & Little Birds. If you follow me on twitter, you probably see me re-tweeting a lot of their posts. That would be why.
This will be Sundial’s first trip to Sundance, and to support him, a bunch of our friends will be heading out to Park City for a long weekend – to catch his films, celebrate, and try not to freeze to death. I’m seriously excited. I’m a huge film-addict, can’t wait to support the boyfriend, and am (obvs!) extremely excited to see a new city.
So naturally, the next question is, What to wear!? I was extremely excited to receive a pair of La Canadienne wedge boots for Christmas from the boyfriend. I love the boots, but may have been more excited that he actually read my blog. (I featured the boots here.) I don’t harbor any illusions – I know that my superficial, highly-informative and intelligently written beauty & fashion blog is of little interest to the male sex… but it made me ridiculously happy that he had taken the time to check it out.
I put together the below inspiration board (based around my new boots, of course.) I’m thinking that long & cozy tunic sweaters, paired with skinny cords or leggings, soft scarves, and chunky jewelry (topped off with a cozy white vest) will be the way to go.
Sundance, here we come! (Well, not for a month, but that’s no reason not to start shopping now!)
From top left: Old Navy puffy white vest, Spiegel “cocoon cardigan,” Topshop sweater tunic, Crumpet striped cashmere sweater dress, Mod Cloth oversized scarf, Anthropologie fleece lined leggings, La Canadienne wedge boots, J. Brand skinny cords, Kate Spade mittens (so cute – one paw says “Place Snowball here… I have and love.) cashmere socks, topshop beret, DANNIJO cuff bracelet
PS – Follow Sundial Pictures on Twitter here! They’re certainly one to watch (and I’m not just saying this because of girlfriend-ly duties.)
