Summer Travel Planning…

dress // hat // bag // heels

Are you heading anywhere fun this summer?

Since moving into my new apartment I’ve been more into staying home. I love my space, my big bed, and having room to actually entertain (I’ll share another apartment update next week!) Still, I like planning little adventures to look forward to. Last week I booked my two big summer trips. I’m going to London at the end of June (for Briony’s wedding) and home to my parents house on Cape Cod for a week in mid-July (my whole family – nephew included will be home for the full week)… I can’t wait! In between that there will be lots of trips out East to the Hamptons. A few of us are renting a house for a couple weekends, and my friend plans the events for The Daily Front Row so I always tag along. I miss Cape Cod so much and prefer it to the Hamptons (besides being home, it’s a little more low key/laid back…) but having the Hamptons just a couple hours away is really nice, especially for a weekend getaway.

And when it comes to those weekend trips, this Very Troubled Child bag is going to be amazing. When the brand reached out to tell me about their bags, I got obsessed immediately… the patterns are so fantastic. They are definitely an investment, but beautifully made from 100% Vachetta leather… with hand painted monograms. I didn’t include a photo of the inside but the bag is actually lined in my favorite color… emerald green!

Outfit Details: Kate Spade Dress (wearing a size small, also available here and here) // J.Crew Panama Hat // Very Troubled Child Bag (c/o) // J.Crew Corsica Espadrille Wedges

Your plans sound awesome! Renting a house with friends for a nice holiday getaway is just what I would like to do right now too!
Your bag will def. come in handy and it’s a perfect weekender bag!

No trips this summer. Sure I will head down to the Jersey Shore for a weekend here or there.

Love the bag and that backdrop. Where is that wall, if you don’t mind me asking?

    Have a great day, Grace!

Everything about these photos is on point (obsessed with that wall!). I’m going to Cape May at the end of June for my birthday (have you ever been?) and hopefully planning a trip up to Maine later this summer!

You look so great here, Grace! Love me some stripes and tassels 🙂 After my first Chicago winter, I don’t want to leave the city until summer is over! I’ve got lots of visitors in the coming months though so we are going to play tourist and soak it all up.
