summer: The End

I still can’t believe that summer is (officially, at least…) over.  Between weddings, travel plans, work, and everything else going on, the summer went by in what felt like a minute.
Fall, especially in New York, has always been one of my favorite seasons.  Pumpkin spiced lattes; the return of boots, leather jackets, and cozy scarfs; and cozy Sundays spent inside watching football and doing crafts.  It’s also my birthday month… I’m turning the big 3-0 on the 27th!  Mostly though, I’m excited for things to slow down just the tiniest bit.  For weekends spent in the city, movie marathons, getting settled into my new living situation, and actually seeing my friends.

Happy end of summer, my friends.  I’m not saying that I’m excited to bid adieu to tank tops and shorts, or  a cold glass of rose on a hot day… but I’m looking forward to a  New York fall.
P.S.  Who will I see at Lucky FABB and Bloggers Night Out this week?
