Isn’t it great when an old favorite brand becomes a new favorite? When I was younger, I lived in Abercrombie & Fitch. As I got older and moved to New York, I hadn’t really worn the brand – I associated them more with logo tees and cut-offs. Recently though, I gave the brand another look and I’m so glad I did. I’m completely obsessed with this little white dress (it comes in black, too). It’s up there with some of my more expensive white lace dresses (and it’s under $100). I layered it under this military vest to lend a more casual vibe. During the same shopping trip, I also scooped up this fit & flare floral dress and this blue & white top. (I love the tassel hemline!)

Consider me converted… Abercrombie is a great place to stock up on great summer basics. Besides the pieces I got, I’m also crushing on this white lace maxidress and this off-the-shoulder number. I was excited to see that they’ve also got some amazing (sophisticated) jewelry… love this gold knot choker! Last but not least, this lace-up camisole. So easy… it would be so cute over a bikini or with jeans.

I would have never guessed this was an Abercrombie dress when I first saw the photos! Love how you styled it with the vest. A perfect casual but dressy look!

I know, I thought the same when I saw it… looks like it could be SEA or something a lot more expensive! I kinda want to get the black one too!

Love your vest! I have a lot of white dresses, this makes me want to go find a cute military vest to layer over them.

Beautiful photos. Can I ask how sizing is? In my experience Abercrombie runs pretty small.. is that still the case?

Hi Elisa, the brand does run a little small but not as small as it did back when I was in college! I remember the days when I would buy a large or extra-large in their graphic tees. This was over ten years ago so I am dating myself, haha! I am wearing a size medium in both the dress and the vest, and I usually wear a size 6 in clothes. I kind of wish I bought a large in the vest so that it would be a bit more oversized, but I’m happy with the medium. 🙂 hope that helps!
