One of my favorite things about the blogging community is its entrepreneurial spirit. Through blogging, I have met so many amazing, incredible, passionate women… many of whom have eschewed traditional and/or corporate jobs in favor of following their dreams. For that reason, I’ve decided to create this new “Spotlight” series… to showcase some of the amazing women I’ve met along the way… so that we can all learn a little bit about them (and let’s be honest… to learn some of their secrets to success!)
Today, we’re kicking things off with the wise-beyond-her-years Mackenzie Horan, of Design Darling. I wanted to feature her because at 22, (yes, 22…) Mackenzie has already accomplished an incredible amount. And this Spring, she’ll be launching her own online boutique. Amazing. She shares my penchant for monograms, navy blue, New England style, hand written notes, and lengthy to-do lists… so naturally, her blog is one of my favorites… (and I happen to have a feeling I’ll be one of her best customers once the boutique launches!)
