Spring Beauty Musts

YELLOW_3

We’ve been talking a lot about beauty this week. As you know I’ve been working with Sisley Cosmetics quite a bit over the past six months to tell you about some of my favorite beauty products. We’ve talked about some amazing stand-outs {the botanical d-tox, Sisleyouth — I’m onto my second bottle} and the insanely good phyt0 lip-twists. Today I wanted to tell you about a few more of their products… all, seriously amazing.

There are really three stand-outs that I can.not.get.enough.of.

First is the brow pencil. This thing is amazing. I have been growing my brows out for about four months now. {you can read about my “mission” here.} I stilllll have sparse patches and little holes and that really sucks. I have the blonde one and it perfectly fills everything in. The formula is really nice — it isn’t too waxy and goes on really smoothly. I also love the comb on the other end. I use it to groom my brows and blend the pencil, but I also use it with tiny scissors to trim them.

The other are these amazing phyto-ombre glow eyeshadows. They are kind of ridiculous – in the best sense of the word. Now as backstory, when I signed on to collaborate with Sisley, they sent me a box of goodies to try and let me pick + choose which favorite products I would write about. I’m not usually an eyeshadow girl so I figured I’d try them once and pass them on to a friend. Not the case. These are super metallic and pigmented and basically {especially if you use a wet brush} go on like foil. Your eyelids just look amazing and shimmery and magical, like a fairy. My favorite is the “Pearl” shade but I also really like “Amber” for a bit more drama. I don’t do this every day {honestly I rarely wear makeup to the office besides mascara and lipstick} but I like covering my lid with Pearl and then blending just a bit of Amber into the crease. I’ve never tried anything like these… they are good.

Lastly, the lipsticks. I wanted to shake up my routine a little bit and move away from my usual reds. I tried Sisley’s lipstick {wearing it above} in Tangerine and just love it. As with all of Sisley’s products, the formula is really fantastic – it just glides right on, stays put and moisturizes. But I love the pigment too – the colors are just really pretty. They also sent over their lip shine in Coral, which I love just as much. The lip shine is a little bit less pigmented but super super hydrating – kind of like an extra luxe, shinier version of chapstick. With color, of course.

Hi! How is that Cuyana tee..is it sheer?

I’m trying to find a nice thicker tee that I can wear to work with pencil skirts sometimes.

Any suggestions from readers are appreciated 🙂

      Hi Evelyn,

I love this tee! It is not at all sheer, but it isn’t thick. I think it would look nice with a pencil skirt – they also have a short sleeved version. I am wearing a size small here and wish I got a medium, its a little bit tight.. but in the right size I think would look better!
