Sonsie Multi Moisture Mask Review

Sonsie is a brand I’ve been watching, ever since learning that Pamela Anderson and her sons had acquired the brand. I first featured this mask on Substack a little over a month ago but I wanted to give it a place on the blog as it’s so much easier to search here, and also I really love the mask. It’s one of the best hydrating masks I’ve tried. I want to try the other products in the line to see if they live up to this one. I’m expecting big things!

Anyway! After publishing my initial thoughts on Substack, the brand kindly reached out and gave me a code. GRACE15 will get you 15% off sitewide. It expires 8/15. This post is not at all sponsored but I am using an affiliate link, so if you decide to try it out I will earn a small commission!

Sonsie multi moisture mask review

This is a great everyday moisture mask. It reminds me a lot of the Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask. Don’t ask me to pick a favorite, it’s impossible! Funny enough, this is priced at just a dollar under the Summer Fridays mask; I wonder if they did that on purpose. For a mask to tie with the Jet Lag mask is a BFD as that is one of my holy grail, all time favorites. Packaging minimalists will love this one for it’s sleek white tube and sleek branding.

As I write this, I’ve done my morning skincare routine and still felt a little dry so decided to apply a layer of this mask to boost hydration. Instant, comforting hydration. You can apply a lot or a little. You can leave it on like moisturizer or tissue it off after twenty minutes. And you can use it as a spot treatment for dry patches. You can even sleep in it. I love bringing this with me on a long flight home from LA… I will apply an invisible layer (Sidebar: do not apply this over makeup; I fly barefaced save for some mascara and lip balm) and it’s a godsend – airplane air can be so dehydrating! Really though, besides not putting this on over makeup, there are no rules! It’s also vegan and cruelty free, and I really like the brand’s ethos — caring for the skin vs. “fixing” it.

Key Ingredients:

12% GLYCERIN

  • This prevents moisture loss and supports the skin barrier.

HYALURONIC ACID

  • One of my favorite ingredients for plumping and hydration. It reduces the appearance of fine lines while maintaining hydration.

PRICKLY PEAR EXTRACT

  • Soothes sensitive skin and protects against environmental stressors. Fun fact, Prickly Pear extract has fantastic anti-aging properties. I was pleasantly surprised and happy to see it listed as an ingredient. Back in 2018 I wrote a piece about cactus oil being a natural botox!

Is this good on African American females. I don’t see any on your site. If you need someone of color. I could be that face.

    Thanks
