A Few Nice Things.

Nice Things

Earlier today I shared a more personal post (THANK YOU for the kind words + encouragement) but as promised, this afternoon I am back with a little bit of shopping fun. Everything in this collage is either something I have… or really want to have. It’s a little all over the place but the uniting factor is that everything in it is great.

A few key highlights: you know I LOVE a good dad shirt and this floral one is too good. Along those lines I love this Ganni Blazer for Fall. I have been debating it for a while now and think I’m going to take the plunge. I love red, I love a longer blazer, and plaid is so on trend for Fall, I think it’s perfect. I’d style it with the scalloped camisole, jeans, and high heels… so chic.

On the beauty front, after our Instagram Live (currently saved to my IG TV), I had to try Clark’s Botanicals Marine Cream. Also, and possibly TMI, I have suddenly had this issue where NONE of my usual favorite natural deodorants are working (halp!) which sometimes happens and in that case I will try a new one. A friend told me about the Kopari Deodorant and I love it so much. Highly, highly recommend. Last but not least, a clean lip gloss that isn’t sticky and is just really, really pretty. I LOVE W3LL People, their tinted moisturizer is my favorite.

OH and also, remember this post and the $700 pearl bag I wanted? Yeah. Well lucky me (and now you) because a reader tracked down a $70 dupe for me! I ordered it and it came yesterday. I can attest – the quality is fantastic. Coming to an outfit post near you!

Clockwise from Top Left: Madewell Floral Shirt // Rainbow Earrings // Clark’s Botanicals Marine Cream (take 25% off with code TheStripe25) // Navy Pajama Top // White Eyelet Dress // Marion Parke Heels // Tortoise Hoops // Kopari Deodorant // Scalloped Camisole // Ganni Blazer // Marni Pouch // Red Top // Pearl Bag (the bow is removable!!!) // W3LL People Lip Gloss // Krewe Sunglasses

Hi Grace, I recently bought the Arm & Hammer Essentials deodorant and it works pretty well. I don’t know exactly how clean it is – I just wanted something aluminum-free that wouldn’t stain my shirts (this summer has been brutal…) – but it’s super cheap so could be worth a try!

I tried it and actually hated it! Everyone suggests it and I’ve tried it but it didn’t work for me which is why I haven’t reviewed it here! xo

Have you tried Primally Pure deodorant? I just started trying their Charcoal Deodorant because I can’t use the ones with baking soda in them and the other brands I’ve tried haven’t held up well. So far, I’m impressed with this one. Haven’t had to reapply and can’t smell myself at the end of the day. Granted, they haven’t been super active days, but with all of the others, I could smell myself by the end of the day even if all I did was sit at my desk. I’ll have to give it more time (and see how it stands up to exercise) before I can really give it my approval, but I have to say that I’m cautiously optimistic.

I have not! I love the Schmidt’s Charcoal Deodorant but I think that may have baking soda. Really into the Kopari so far!

Actually, Primally Pure Charcoal does have some baking soda but reportedly less than most, so it can be tolerated by some who have baking soda sensitivity. Fingers crossed that I am one of those! I’ll definitely keep Kopari in mind for future reference though.
