Soft Pinks for Fall

These soft pinks feel so cozy and calming. Ordinarily, I wouldn’t think of soft pink as a fall color, but that is why it works so well for the season. It’s unexpected and fresh. Marie Claire named it one of the top color trends of Fall 2024, inspired by Miu Miu and Dries Van Noten (among others!).

Soft pinks for fall

Grace: While you will never see me in bows or a tutu, I love a powdery baby pink. Especially if it’s cashmere. The softer the pink, the softer the fabric needs to be… right? I think Tuckernuck got the shade perfectly right. This polo sweater and this v-neck sweater (in the most buttery-perfect cashmere) are heaven. I also love these classic ballet flats and these mesh mary janes. And on the jewelry front: two pairs of Amazon earrings that could pass for Irene Neuwirth (these and these!) and this candy necklace from Theodosia. (Theodosia is a small business local to Charleston, the best chunky gemstone necklaces!).

Carly: I wholeheartedly agree with Grace’s sentiment that the softer the pink, the softer the fabric should be! I love the idea of pairing this polo or this cardigan with a baggier grey trouser or brown corduroy pants to balance the daintiness with a bit of masculinity. These retro sneakers would be the perfect substitute for a white pair in a more understated look (thinking white tee and jeans), and this fitted tee is the perfect layering essential for our fall knits! I love that we’re all getting in touch with a slightly softer side of fashion this season.

I wear a lot of black clothes, so I love to accessorize with baby pink to soften things up. Pretty post!

Where is the lace blouse from? I don’t see it listed anywhere in the post.
