And the first of my sister’s wedding showers is over. It was a fun afternoon – lots of white wine. gifts, and delicious food. The highlight, for me, was the beautiful paper flowers that my mom made from coffee flowers. She’s spent weeks painting the filters and putting together flowers using this amazing tutorial. (I wanted to have her do a guest blog post to talk about how she made them, but she didn’t want to take anything away from Design Sponge.)
So beautiful, so clever, and from the sounds of it, incredibly easy to make! Yes, my friends, for those of you who wonder where I got my craftiness from, it’s all my mom.
