Sister Style: Flower Shopping

FLOWERS_3

Nothing brightens my mood more than fresh flowers.  In our bedroom, on the kitchen table, in the bathroom… I put them everywhere I can.  (And you guys, it’s nearly peony season… who else is excited?)  My sister and I went flower shopping last weekend and I picked up the loveliest hydrangeas… the only sad part was that they wilted just a day later.

What’s your flower of choice?

On Becca:  Rebecca Minkoff Blazer (on sale) // Tibi Top (old) // Elizabeth & James Jeans // Chanel Bag

On me:  gifted Old Navy Jacket (only $37!) // Rag & Bone Jeans (my go-to) // Celine Bag

  3. Hydrangeas are hard they often wilt so fast. I often stay away from them because of their short life. You and your sis are super cute!

  8. Fresh flowers are about as good as it gets. I recently threw an engagement party and mixed simple baby’s breath bouquets with ostrich plumes. Gorgeous (and affordable)! http://hammer-and-heels.com/2013/04/26/love-is-in-the-air/

  10. Hydrangea love hot water! Cut the stems with a knife so the white shows & put them in piping hot water. You can also “drown” them & they will perk back up! 🙂

  17. Gorgeous sisters! I love peonies, too! My family actually owns a florist and yet I can’t name flowers to save my life – how sad 🙁
