Sister Style: Flower Shopping

Nothing brightens my mood more than fresh flowers.  In our bedroom, on the kitchen table, in the bathroom… I put them everywhere I can.  (And you guys, it’s nearly peony season… who else is excited?)  My sister and I went flower shopping last weekend and I picked up the loveliest hydrangeas… the only sad part was that they wilted just a day later.

What’s your flower of choice?

On Becca:  Rebecca Minkoff Blazer (on sale) // Tibi Top (old) // Elizabeth & James Jeans // Chanel Bag

On me:  gifted Old Navy Jacket (only $37!) // Rag & Bone Jeans (my go-to) // Celine Bag

Hydrangeas are hard they often wilt so fast. I often stay away from them because of their short life. You and your sis are super cute!

I love having fresh flowers around, and they’re always some variation of my three favorites: tulips, peonies and hydrangeas.

Loving the floral markets you guys have in NYC, I would buy flowers all the time!

Fresh flowers are about as good as it gets. I recently threw an engagement party and mixed simple baby’s breath bouquets with ostrich plumes. Gorgeous (and affordable)!

It’s great to see so much of your sister on the blog lately Grace. You’re both beautiful and I’m loving both chic jackets! I hope you scored some lovely blooms.

Hydrangea love hot water! Cut the stems with a knife so the white shows & put them in piping hot water. You can also “drown” them & they will perk back up! 🙂

Cute cute. I cannot believe that blazer was under $40!! My favorite flowers are peonies, but I love having hydrangeas around the house too! Sad that they wilted so quickly :-/

Whatever I do, I always have fresh flowers around – they instantly brighten the room. I am beyond excited that it is almost peony season because our bush is about to bloom!

Gorgeous sisters! I love peonies, too! My family actually owns a florist and yet I can’t name flowers to save my life – how sad 🙁
