Sisley Phyto-Lip Twists

Sisley2

I’m a lip pencil addict. I love the precision that comes with using a pencil, and I love the strong pigments. But a lot of the lip pencils I’ve tried tend to be a little on the drying side – especially around this time of year. This never fazed me too much as I’d just apply a little Burt’s Bees on top of my lipstick, but then I discovered Sisley Phyto-Lip Twists. These are amazing in that they are insanely hydrating. No chapstick necessary. Rather than depleting my lips of moisture, they actually treat my dry lips… leaving them hydrated + smoother. Sisley describes the lip twists as “tinted like a lipstick, cocooning like a balm, and shiny like a gloss,” and I think this is 100% accurate.

The cherry is my go-to. A shiny, vibrant red. But I’ve also been wearing the berry a lot too. {I’m wearing the berry in the photos below!} Side note – I didn’t change my hair again… we just shot these photos before the blonde happened.

  4. I’m horrible at applying lipstick with precision (although I love a red lip). I will definitely try a pencil next time! Thanks for the advice.

  5. Good to know! I only have one lip pencil and love the bright color, but it does dry my lips.
