Favorite Sephora products

What I’m Buying

Bader!!!! I am so so thrilled that Sephora now carries Dr. Bader. More Rich Cream. It’s my holy grail and the best moisturizer ever. I am 40 and swear that it keeps me young. They’ve launched a few new products (including an eye cream that I’m especially tempted by!!!)

My favorite candles. This is no secret, I talk about these every year but I love this candle so much, it smells a lot like Le Labo Santal 26 but at a much better price. I buy 3-4 every time Sephora has this event. Smoky and sexy and just incredible… they’re my favs. They are great to keep on hand to give as gifts, too!

More of my favorite peel from Sobel Skin. This stuff is magical.

A new lipstick or two from Bite. I got this lipstick a couple months ago and fell in love with the finish (leaves lips velvety and soft but it has a nice matte finish). Sugar Buns is very very pretty – I wrote about it here.

The Tata Harper resurfacing mask. I love this mask so much and always buy one during the sale. It brightens and tightens and just makes you GLOW, all why smoothing and refining the texture of the skin.

More Necessaire body lotion and Eucalyptus body wash. Holy grails.

Another bottle of Biossance’s lactic acid treatment. This is my favorite acid potion – leaves skin so smooth the next day, I do it 2-3x a week. Also, another bottle of my favorite retinol.

Lord Jones’ amazing lavender bath salts. They smell heavenly and work wonders on sore achey muscles. I also love giving this as a gift.

Longest Lashes Ever!

I have been getting a lot of eyelash questions in my DMs. It’s because I have been using Grande Lash every day since August and my lashes have gotten so, so much longer. (I also keep the mini in my travel bag so I never forget it – you really do need to use it every day or at least every other day). I have been using that plus this Ilia mascara.

Great Gifts

As mentioned above, the Maison Louis Marie Candle, Wander Beauty Gold Eye Patches, and Lord Jones Bath Salts are among my favorite gifts to give. I always have a few of each on hand (pre-wrapped!) as last minute gifts.

Self Care Favs to pamper at home

This facial steamer is everything when it comes to creating an at home “spa experience.” It also ALWAYS sells out during this sale. I bought it for myself at the beginning of quarantine and it’s been such a treat. I like to wash my face and then use this before a deep cleansing mask to really let the treatment penetrate.

If I could only pick one favorite face mask it would be this one from Tata Harper. It’s truly the best and leaves your skin SO glowy. This one from OleHenriksen is a close second favorite!

Dry brushing is one of the best things you can do for your skin and circulation (for a nice how-to, refer to this post!) This brush is amazing!

For a nice take on a microcurrent facial at home (my personal favorite when getting a facial), the NuFace is king! You need to do it every day to see a difference but for a lifted look, nothing is better. I also always stock up on the priming gel during this sale.

Sephora holy grail skincare

Holy grail skincare

The new(ish) Kiehl’s Retinol is so good. It’s my favorite retinol right now.

Tata Harper Everything! Always. I am absolutely obsessed with this brand. If I had to pick just one item to buy from here it would be the resurfacing mask (holy grail FAVORITE MASK EVER).

I always forget about this “line-reducing” concentrate from Kiehl’s but it’s one of my FAV products. It really makes a difference in reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, especially on your forehead.

Dr. Bader. The rich cream is the holy grail. Nothing is better but it’s expensive. I always stock up during this sale!

Sephora Collection’s Vitamin C Serum: This product is an incredible price (only $20) and makes your skin so bright and glowy.

This face cream is what I always recommend to someone who wants a Bader-ish cream without the Bader-ish price. WOW. It’s so good. If you have very dry skin and need a really rich moisturizer, it’s excellent. I love that it also lifts and firms the skin. It’s a new favorite. I really love this brand: their 30% glycolic acid peel is UNREAL (you will have no lines the next day – it’s temporary but amazing) and their retinol is great too (right now I prefer the Kiehl’s, but this was my favorite until I tried that.)

Biossance is one of my absolute favorite brands of all time.

I absolutely love their lactic acid treatment. It’s become a holy grail for me as it makes SUCH a difference in your skin in just a night. I also really love their phytoretinol (the best Bakuchiol/retinol alternative I have tried). Also, this Vitamin C Serum – leaves skin so bright and GLOWY and has really helped to even out my skin tone. Everything this brand makes is amazing (well in full honesty I don’t love the eye gel but the eye cream is insanely good – thick and hydrating!). Oh and the body cream! SO GOOD and only $28… before the sale!

Farmacy is my other fav. Their Green Clean cleansing balm is a holy grail fav. My all time favorite cleanser. I’ve tried so many cleansers (many of them being so much more expensive!!) but always come back to this – it takes off all my makeup while leaving the skin so soft. I am also a big fan of their Deep Sweep toner and this ultra gentle (honey scented) gel cleanser.

I loooove Wander Beauty’s gold eye masks and am intrigued by the new limited edition purple ones!

Makeup Favs

Saie Beauty. I am SO happy that Sephora started carrying Saie Beauty as they are one of my absolute favorites. The Glowy Super Gel is one of my absolute favorite products – I like to apply it all over my face for that no makeup makeup GLOW. And I love this bouncy little highlighter. I love their mascara, and most recently I’ve gotten VERY into the brand new cream bronzer (get the brush too!!).

Glowscreen! Is it makeup? Is it skincare? It’s kind of both but I love it so much and wear it nearly every day.

Ilia is definitely another big favorite brand. A few standouts are this eyeshadow palette (in warm – I apply with a wet brush and the finish is perfection), their mascara, and their eyeliner (the BEST LINER). I will say that their new volumizing mascara is very, very good. It definitely fattens up my eyelashes!

And Wander Beauty. My two FAVS from Wander are the foundation and the mascara. And of course the gold eye masks… favs, and so instagrammy!

The BeautyBlender. I’d be lost without mine. I use it for everything from blending my foundation and highlighter to fixing eye makeup mistakes. I really like this color changing one.

The KOSAS lipstick in Rosewater. This is one of my absolute favorite everyday products. It is the color of my lips but just a little better.

Hair Products

This Briogeo Scalp Scrub is heavenly. I have talked about it at length but it’s just the best. Smells so good, feels so good, and gets your scalp ultra clean. Honestly though, Briogeo anything! My everyday shampoo and conditioner are from the Don’t Despair Repair line… they leave my hair soft and silky and frizz free.

This is my favorite blonde shampoo… and I’ve tried so many. I use it once every week or every two weeks to keep my highlights from getting brassy.

I am a big, big Olaplex person. And I like to use the No. 3 mask once a week and my hair is SO MUCH SOFTER. I was pleasantly surprised to see that it also meets Sephora’s clean standards. I’m also really loving their leave in cream. Doesn’t weigh my hair down but tames my frizz!!!

Body Products

You know how much I love Necessaire. They’re pretty much my go-to body brand. The eucalyptus shower gel, body scrub, and unscented body cream are my favs.

My absolute favorite body lotion is this one from Sol de Janeiro. It smells like salted caramel, and it does a great job firming and toning the skin.

Also on the body creams front, this one from Biossance is very very good! (I have a lot of body creams!)

Amazing list as always, Grace! I think I might use the sale to try out the Biossance lactic acid serum. I have been using the Farmacy Honeymoon Glow for the past 18 months or so, but with the transition to winter my skin is feeling kind of dry and sensitive so I think using the Biossance with squalane could be a good switch. My skin has responded really well to every other squalane product I’ve tried!

As an aside, I would love a little mini blog post or demo on Instagram Stories on how you apply your eyeshadow with a wet brush!

Thank you for this round up!!

I think I’m going to take advantage of the sale to try the Biossance lactic acid, since I’m almost out of the Good Genes I’ve been slowly rationing out over the past year. I noticed that the full size, which is 1.01 oz. is $62 (before the sale), but the Lifted Spirits Set, which includes a 0.5 oz. bottle of the lactic acid and a travel size of the Eye Cream is only $25 (before the sale) – that means it’s actually $10 cheaper by the ounce of lactic acid to buy the set and you get a free Eye Cream with it, essentially! The smaller size is perfect for me anyway since I don’t use lactic acid every day and don’t totally want to invest in the full size until I’ve tried it. Just thought I’d share this little find in case any of your other readers are looking to try the lactic acid during this sale 🙂

It’s the most wonderful time of the year!!

I got more Bader Rich Cream (even some for my mom as a Christmas gift), Bader Body Cream, Maison Louis Marie Bois de Balincourt candles, Maison Louis Marie Swiss Alps candle (it smells heavenly and I think will be perfect for the holidays!), Kiehl’s calendula water cream, T3 Curling iron, Rose, Inc toner ( I bought this a few weeks ago on your rec., Grace and LOVE it!), and a Charlotte Tilbury eye shadow palette 🙂

I may get some Necessaire Eucalyptus body wash and NuFace Gel because I totally forgot about those!

Thank you for sharing your recs! My face went from oily in my 20s to really dry in my mid 30s so I have had to change up my entire skincare routine. And I have gotten so many great products from reading your site and your thoughtful, honest reviews. Thank you!

Oh! Also, do you have any tips for using Grand Lash? I had gotten tube of it a while ago and put it on at night – no problem! But when I washed my face the next day I guess some washed into my eye and my eyes were red for several hours. I had it on overnight so not sure what happened. Do you have any tips on this you can share to prevent this?

Always love your beauty recommendations. I bought the saie bronzer and brush after seeing you and Jess Ann Kirby talk about it. It’s so good! Easy to apply and gives a beautiful glow, just applying this is such simple way to look so much more polished. Thank you!!
