While I was home on the Cape over the weekend, we were able to pay a visit to Scargo Pottery. Growing up, in both my home and my parents’ restaurant, all of our “special” mugs, bowls, and plates came from Scargo… and now that Stefan and I are working on making the apartment a bit more “grown up,” I wanted to buy some special pieces for us to enjoy at home in Manhattan. While we were there, I forgot what a magical, inspiring place it is. The studio is tucked away in the woods (in the town I grew up in – Dennis, MA.) It’s part studio / part work space / part enchanted garden. I’ll let the photos speak for themselves, but if you’re ever on the Cape, it is an absolute must-visit. I was also just tickled to see that they’ve set up an Etsy Shop!
this really reminds me of summer in spain with my parents… my mom loved this kind of pottery!

Great pieces! I’m ashamed that I usually stick with IKEA for dining ware. 🙂
These are GORGEOUS! I MUST look into buying some.
