S is for Suno… (and Static!)

Suno Embroidered Canvas 2

I have long been a huge fan of Suno – but have never taken the plunge on any of the designer’s pieces, simply because they are rather expensive – and prints. Most of my splurge pieces are basics (things I can wear over and over again like the shoes + clutch I’m wearing in this post…) I typically shy away from splurging on prints because I worry that I won’t wear them enough to justify the cost. Alas, with the launch party for The Stripe (tonight!), I wanted to buy something really special… and since I’m having the event professionally photographed I wanted to wear lighter hues that would stand out in photos (i.e. no black.)

I really like that this is a twin set. Besides the fact that I just really love matchy-matchy sets, I know I’ll wear both pieces a lot more on their own. The top will be great with my other skirts + jeans now (and shorts + white jeans in the Spring) and the skirt will easily mix and match with blouses I already own.

Also guys – my hair. Oops. I don’t usually wear it this straight (I’ve been going over it with a flat iron instead of curling it) but need to get some dryer sheets… or something! #fail.

  2. Love the outfit! Purchase some Bounce Free and Clear dryer sheets! They barely have a sent a do the trick. I use them almost every day and makes such a huge difference.
