Red + White Stripes.

trench // tee // jeans // bag // heels

Another everyday outfit… this one is one of my favs! I bought this (ultra comfy) striped tee at the Shopbop sale and love it so much as it’s distressed so it feels like an old ratty tee (but it’s not!). I would say it runs a little big (I got a medium but wish I got a small) so if you aren’t sure, size down! I paired it with classic denim and my favorite heels to add a little punch of pink!

And about these heels! I love them the most. I bought this pink pair last year and they were instant favorites. This year, I ordered them in emerald green and have been wearing them non-stop already. BUT! Now the brand has come out with a “little sister” to this pair… with a lower heeled version! I am dying for the blue pair.. but I feel like it might be a much (even for me – ever the LR addict) to have three pairs of the same shoe. I don’t know, we shall see. By the time I make up my mind they will probably be sold out!

I hope you guys are having a great start to the week! I’m really relishing being home for a while (I’m not going anywhere until May 23rd when I leave for my yoga retreat!!) and am really focusing hard on major organization – getting everything squared away for when I’m gone, lots of Spring cleaning, and getting ahead on work. It feels good!

  1. Pinned this outfit! Red and white stripes are such a classic, and I love how you tucked it in with belted loose jeans. So cute! 🙂

  4. I know if said it before but I’m so in love with that bag. Now that it’s in stock I really might pull the trigger…I need another bag like I need a hole in the head but it’s just so classic!

  6. One of the things I love most about your outfit posts is how often you reuse/rewear clothing! It feels far more realistic and achievable! Every time I see you use your handbag I’m tempted to buy it. It looks like the perfect everyday spring/summer bag!

    • Aw thank you Sarah!

I kinda made up my mind this winter to stop shopping so much just to have new things to wear on the blog. It’s so wasteful!!! But then everytime I wear something that’s not currently available I feel so much guilt! I actually shot these pink shoes before LR brought them back so I’m so glad they did as they are the best!

As for the bag, it was the best thing I bought all Spring. Hands down. I could not love it more!!

I completely agree! It is so much more realistic (and helpful!) to see the same jeans and shoes styled a ton of different and interesting ways.

Agree! Our lives aren’t like bloggers where we can always afford to buy new outfits all the time so I appreciate this as well!

Love this outfit and love the reuse restyle theme. Why not redo this outfit at a lower price version? We all love to see a side by side comparison shots 🙂 The jeans are great and I’m sorely tempted to get the bag.

    • Thanks Cy – that’s a great idea but not really realistic/pragmatic as the whole point is to buy less… I don’t really want to buy doubles of everything and as I get older I’d rather invest in high quality items that I can wear over and over again vs less expensive things that fall apart in the wash.

That being said, I used to link a “look for less” for each outfit and I can try to bring that back down the road! xo
