Red, White, & Blue!

Red, White, & Blue for 4th of July

I thought it would be fun to pull together some red white and blue favorites with the 4th of July weekend coming up. To be honest, the bulk of my wardrobe is red, white, and blue (the rest is emerald green), so dressing for the 4th isn’t really something I have to shop for. But still! Some pretty things that I would want to wear this weekend, or all summer long for that matter.

Red, White, & Blue for 4th of July

I have this eyelet dress in white and could not love it more. It’s one of my best purchases from this Spring. Size down!

These pearl slides are a splurge but AMAZING.

For an inexpensive but fun 4th of July accent I would wear a red, white, or blue dress… my hair in a low bun, and these star earrings or one of these star hair clips. Or skip stars and do this headband. (I’m back on headbands again with this Charleston humidity!)

You know I love a good wicker bag and this one is great if you want to be hands free. (Drink in one hand, cell phone in the other?). Also on the bag front: I’ve been seeing silhouettes like this one (swoon) everywhere… this is a fun inexpensive take on the trend.

I ordered this smocked dress to wear this weekend and am annoyed because it sold out but this one is very similar.

My red Amazon drop dress would look amazing on the fourth! I’d do a fun white earring like this one and flat sandals.

For an easy but low key 4th of July look, try this blouse (in white) with cutoffs, a low(ish) wedge espadrille, and a fun red earring. This blouse is also so fun.

I love this classic striped tee!

You truly cannot go wrong with plastic birkenstocks. They are so comfortable. Like crocs, but cuter. I love this bright blue pair (and you can read my thoughts on these sandals in this review!).

I’m considering the plastic Birks, but will probably spend the next week agonizing over what color to get, and in the end I’ll probably go with black.
