the best pullover ever

This pullover is the best ever. Why? It’s long enough to wear with leggings. The gold snaps make it feel a little bit expensive. And the material is so cool. It feels like a fleece but looks like a sweater. Brilliant.

shop it!

I’ve gotten some requests for quarantine Amazon recs and favorites so today we’re going to do that! As a reminder, I keep my Amazon shop pretty up to date. Any time I try something new I add it. It has fun little sections too (fashion, home, random, etc) to help you find whatever it is you may be looking for. But today’s post is about the real standouts, my quarantine MVPs, if you will.

It’s no secret that I’ve been using this time to get really organized – I’ve been doing a lot of cleaning and purging and sorting!!!! So we will break down those things. But we’ll also talk about a few fun things too like this pullover, which may be my best quarantine purchase, for the reasons I mention above. (Runs true to size, I take a medium!)

clockwise from top left: Bissell Steam Mop // Shelf Organizer for Cabinets // Lazy Susan for cabinet  // Ring Light Tripod // iPhone Mirror Mount // Woven Hyacinth Rectangular Basket // Zulay Handheld Milk Frother // Tub O’ Towels // Woven Hyacinth Round Basket // Amazon The Drop Utility Pocket Shirt // Fleece Tunic Pullover // Free People Le Femme Top //Air Fryer // OXO Pop Container Set // InVade Bio Drain // Stasher Reusable Food Bag // Exercise Resistance Bands

On the cleaning front I could not love my Bissell Steam Mop more. It gets my floors SO clean and it’s fun + very easy to use. It also has some cool attachments allowing you to tackle grout, tough messes… even your windows! I’m also swearing by InVade Bio Drain which was recommended by so many of you (THANK YOU!). It fixed my drain fly problem (euggh!!!) and also gets rid of clogs without harsh chemicals. Last but not least is my beloved Tub O’ Towels. Oh my goodness. These things are magical. There’s nothing they can’t clean. I am obsessed and use them EVERYWHERE for heavy duty cleaning with minimal work.

Blogging wise, I would be lost without this Ring Light Tripod. I use it for Instagram lives, to film my videos, and sometimes to film instagram stories when I’m too lazy to hold the camera. This iPhone Mirror Mount is also brilliant, it’s great for filming things when in the bathroom. Specific, I know.

OK, organization!

I know I am being dramatic but adding lazy susans to my fridge + cabinets has been life changing. It is such a better use of space and now when I want a spice or a condiment or whatever, I just give it a spin vs. rearranging the whole cabinet! This shelf divider is also great for my cabinets, allowing easier access to plates and bowls, etc. No more towering piles of plates, now I can access everything!

I love these stasher bags for (literally) stashing things in the fridge (cheese, perishable snacks, leftovers, etc.) And these OXO containers are great for holding all my dry goods (think pasta, flour, snacks, sugar, nuts, etc.!)… besides being great quality and helpful (I love how easily they stack to save space) it’s nice how uniform everything looks.

Which brings us to cooking.

Also in that “life changing products of quarantine” category is my air fryer. Besides being ridiculously cute, it’s amazing how many good things it can make, and also how quickly it works. I’m having fun trying new recipes and love how easily it heats up leftovers, too!

Last but certainly not least is this little milk frother. I like to fill a mug 1/4 of the way with milk, let it foam up, add an ice cube or two, and then a shot (or two) of espresso. SO yummy.

What have been your best quarantine finds? Any fun Amazon discoveries I need to know about!?

Hi! Love all your picks but just want to make sure you know the tub o towels are not disinfecting or antibacterial. I’ve so enjoyed your quarantine content just wanted to make sure you weren’t relying on these for your actual disinfecting of things!

Hi Joanna, Yes I know that! I wasn’t claiming them as that… they’re great for DIRT and grime and dust and all of that! I trust my readers can tell the difference between cleaning products and antibacterial/disinfectants.

I’ve been looking for a good gadget to stick my phone on my mirror! I’m doing a IG story takeover for my gym next week and this is going to really up my game. 🙂

I just ordered those wipes! Anything to combat the disaster zone that our home has become. Any and all magical cleaning products welcome (and I just bought a new mop and already have our gallon of drain cleaner!)

I am on the fence about the lazy susan – going to reassess once summer hits!

Thanks for all the good recs!

I really need an iPhone tripod, but I never thought about one with an incorporated ring light, thank you for the advice!

Of course! I love mine! I use it for pretty much everything – and you don’t have to use the ring light!

OK I bought the Tub O Towles and I am super excited to use them but O M G they stink. I know I am sensitive to fake smells but these are too much for me. I moved the Tub outdoors as it was permeating through my apartment

    Did you have this?
    Did the smell linger?

I’ planning to use them on my bathrooms floors

    THANK YOU!

    • grace at the stripe says 5.20.20

Oh no! The smell doesn’t bother me at all – I’m sorry!

        OK, HILARE.
It isn’t them that stink. Its a new hand lotion I bought that smells awful and was in the same bag!!!

I used them today and O M G they are amazing. Thank you!
