I’ve made it no secret that I am a huge fan of Sunday Riley’s line of skincare products. The line is (in my opinion,) the perfect fusion of science and nature. Their products really work, are made from highly concentrated, high quality ingredients… and ever since I discovered their “Good Genes” treatment, my skin has been glowing!
The product claims to create flawless skin and miniscule pores, so naturally I was excited to try it. (I am a little obsessive about the pores on my nose…)
- Refined French Green Clay (to tighten pores, remove impurities, and infuse skin with minerals..)
- Vitamin C Ester (Helps reduce the appearance of large pores and acts as an antioxidant)
- Black Pepper (Stimulates circulation)
- Sandalwood (Helps relieve irritation)
- Jasmine (Soothes)
- Frankincense (Encourages growth of new skin cells.)
I really liked the product. The one sort of weird thing was that the product shows some separation… but this is actually normal, due to the clay. So before use, you have to give it a (gentle) shake… but by the time the product hits your hands, the pump somehow miraculously blends it all together.
Upon using, my pores had definitely tightened up. Basically, it felt like I’d just used a clay mask. In addition to tightening things up, my skin was brighter, glowier, and softer than usual. (I followed it with Sunday Riley’s Skin Adrenaline, another new favorite,) which I will be reviewing next week.
I would definitely recommend this face wash (especially for days where your skin feels puffy/tired, or needs that extra detoxifying boost…) Get it here at Barney’s!
