I hope you guys had a great weekend. Mine was really nice. Friday night was pretty lazy, and Saturday was spent with family at my Grandmother’s memorial. It was a sad day, but also incredibly nice to be surrounded by family and to spend time together remembering + celebrating her life. On Saturday night one of my best friends came over to give me a little tutorial on Instagram and Facebook ads (they can be so confusing!) and yesterday I spent most of the day reading + working.
On that note, I finally finished The Good Girl yesterday! (I also finished Half Bad on Friday) but I really enjoyed it. I know a few of you didn’t love it, and while parts were a bit frustrating, I thought it was a fun read. I didn’t see the ending coming. Now please share: what do I need to read next??
Today’s round-up is full of pretty things. I want them all. I just love white lace anything, floral dresses + tops, and of course all of the blush. This emerald green dress is pretty high up on my list, as is this silk off-the-shoulder blouse. And I included my fave J.Crew earrings because well, they are everything. Also, be sure to check out seven and nineteen… both are under $150.
PS – I’ll be back a little later today with my latest beauty obsession… it’s a good one!
If you haven’t read All The Light We Cannot See, I cannot recommend it enough. It is beautifully written and so moving and thought provoking. I couldn’t put it down!
The Rosie Project is a fun read I just finished. I was reading The Good Girl this weekend too!
thank you so much for the recommendation!!
Love number 2 of course. Glad that the memorial went well. And cool that your friend can teach you about Facebook ads and Instagram ads. I did that for a while in my profession – social media advertising 😉

Number 1 and 14 are calling my name. Also – so glad to hear you loved The Good Girl. I just bought it on my Kindle. I’m reading After You right now (initially wasn’t going to read) and now I’m really enjoying it. It’s sweet/touching. Let me know what you pick up next!!
Love 11 & 19. I’m definitely “girly” in terms of style, so I love all of these!
love everything you featured! Just wish that Rebecca Taylor dress weren’t so expensive!
I think I need that red dress in my life. Such a good round-up.
want it all!
so many pretty things… i want them all, especially that white lace matchy set.
All the Light We Cannot See is good but also The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah. Both are WWII-era novels.
We had a beautiful memorial for my sister Easter weekend. It does help, although she was much too young to go. I’m getting better. I’m glad you got to celebrate your grandmother. It feels good to find joy in the grief. As I read this post, my first thought was, that green dress is perfect for you!
A book I always recommend to everyone is Tales from Outer Suburbia by Shaun Tan. The art is gorgeous along with the text. I’m also enjoying Night Burger by Jason Sarna. It reminds me of Douglas Coupland. Take care.
