Some of you may know this, but over the past few years my boyfriend and I have gotten very involved with The International Theatre + Literacy Project (ITLP). The project has become very close to our heart as it raises funds to send teaching artists to Tanzania and now South Africa, where they work with students to write + perform original plays for their community. In the process, the students learn (or improve) their English, and most importantly, gain the confidence that it takes to go on to high school + college.

This past month, ITLP launched it’s first IndieGogo campaign to step its fundraising up a notch. I ask that you consider a donation on any level.. even $5 will help! They are getting very close to raising $10,000 which will allow ITLP to expand its program and work with more students for a longer amount of time.
