When Piol invited me to “design” my own custom dress, I immediately said yes… and then completely forgot about it. Oops. #BloggerFail. That’s the thing with doing too many things at once… you oftentimes miss out on some great opportunities. Lucky for me, my friend Amy (who does their PR) sent a few gentle reminders and I remembered to do it. And if it were not for her, I would not have my favorite dress. Literally, my favorite dress. See, I love a good shift but have a hard time finding shift dresses that properly fit. Not with Piol. You plug in all of your measurements and then give them information about your coloring, and boom… Piol sets you up with your perfect dress. I went with red as I love a good red dress and made a shift dress – that fits me, perfectly!
I paired the dress with my fave over the knee boots (last year’s splurge) and my new Facine bag. Not sure if you guys have heard of Facine yet, but I think you’ll be hearing a lot more about them. My friend Alicia is a huge fan and is going to be carrying them at her new boutique. She got me turned on to the brand and I’m so glad she did as the bags are amazing. The leather is deliciously supple + smooth and I just adore this crossbody!
