Pinned & Noted, Vol. 3

I have always had a thirst for discovery—finding unique, interesting things that not everyone has—whether that is a handbag designer that’s still under the radar, a perfume no one else knows about, or something special for my dinner table. In the spirit of that, Pinned & Noted is a column where I will share the new-to-me discoveries, books I’ve pre-ordered, and (hopefully) under-the-radar gems. There’s a lot to be excited about right now, but in this edition, I think I am most enthusiastic about books. Jo Piazza sent me an advanced copy of her new book, Everyone is Lying to You (a trad wife murder mystery, YES, PLEASE). I started reading it over the weekend and can’t put it down. Last night, I had to pry myself away from it to make dinner. I immediately ordered Marisa Meltzer’s bio of Jane Birkin (it’s not out until 10/7, I can’t wait!). Two more pre-orders that arrived this week are Keith McNally’s memoir and Laurence Leamer’s Warhol’s Muses (planning to listen to this one). I’m also eagerly awaiting the arrival of Tell Them You Lied, another recent pre-order, out 5/27

I rarely switch things up at home as I am picky about furniture but I was excited to partner with West Elm (on Substack) on a post about their collaboration with Pierce & Ward. The whole collection is an absolute dream, especially if you love mid-century inspired pieces. The standouts for me were this stool, this lamp, and this console table.

On the fashion front, I’ve been excited about new Posse (this red and white stripe dress is French Riviera perfection), this new-to-me jewelry brand (I love the zodiac charms, and we have a code: use GRACE15), this new-to-me footwear brand (yellow mesh pumps? oh, hello!) Also, this pale blue sundress. The color is perfection.

Two beautiful but splurgy things to admire: these embellished flats from Chloe (like a charm bracelet for your feet?) and Miu Miu’s new matelassé bags. I can’t stop thinking about this tangerine suede! The perfect pop of color.

On the beauty front, I’m cozying up in Esker’s Bath Person sweatshirt (so me!), and testing out U Beauty’s new sheer sunscreen and Ceremonia’s gorgeous haircare products. I’ve been impressed with both so far.
