Pink + Green in Charleston.

This Persifor dress is just the best. The print is like a modern version of the Beverly Hills Hotel wallpaper (hiii banana leaves) and the stretchy fabric makes it super comfy and great for travel. Also, it has great pockets. I also really love the long sleeved version and the maxi dress version. Too fun.

I paired it with my long strand of Charleston Rice Beads which are another favorite piece of mine. I feel like I’m always wearing at least something from Candy Shop Vintage. I’ve had this particular strand forever now and have since added both a white and a navy strand to my jewelry box. It’s the easiest piece of jewelry to wear and I love that it’s also rooted in Charleston’s heritage.

We took these photos on the balcony at The Mills House in Charleston. It was raining outside so we needed to get a little bit creative. I really love the pale pink exterior… makes me so happy!

My white Charleston rice beads are by far my favorite, but now you’ve got me contemplating the navy 🙂 I feel like a broken record, but your skin looks amazing here! I’ve been meaning to ask, do you know anything about melasma and how to treat it? I didn’t get much help at the derm other than “use this cream….it might burn your skin off…” which sort of terrifies me lol

oh girl, get the navy! It will layer so well with the white. (with a red + white stripe tee? okay maybe I’m just working on Memorial Day content but think that would be the cutest!!!)
Re: Melasma… I don’t know much. That being said, I asked a few of my pregnant GFs who were all complaining about it… finding out what they’ve done to treat it! I have a feeling that lasers probably work. I am very anti-botox, etc. (for me – I don’t care what other people do!) but had my derm zap the broken capillaries on my cheek (i’ve always had a splotchy patch on my right cheek) and they are GONE. I bet lasers could fix that too. But don’t take my word for it, finding out and will shoot you an email when I hear from my pals!

      happy weekend! XOXO

Yes, so true – and perfect for all summer long if you ask me! Thank you SO much. I’m anxious to hear. If a laser will fix it, I’m all for it. I’m extremely careful in the sun now (so as not to make it worse than it already is) but the damage has been done and it just looks awful. Hope you have a great weekend! xo

Okay, I’m emailing you too but wanted to post it here too. The consensus is that lasers are the best. My three friends all said the bleaching creams aren’t so good. Apparently the good one is called IPL? xx

Counting the palm print items; one dress, one top, one short skirt, one long skirt. Is that right? All really cute! Are there more palms in our/your future?
