Most of the photos I took while in Northern Ireland are of the mores personal variety {i.e. tons of pictures of my friends’ children… and then the opposite end of the spectrum… some sillier photos from when we were out and about and the kids went to bed.} Neither are really fit for sharing over here. But my friend Aly and I took the train to Dublin last Friday, and despite the rain, we did get a few snaps in. {It helps that she is also a professional photographer.} The above shot was taken in front of the river Liffey, when we first got into town. It was such a fun little day… I’d never been to Dublin – while I wish we could have had more time, I loved getting to explore a new city.
On a completely unrelated – but unavoidable note, my hair! I work a few weeks out on outfit posts so it hasn’t made a debut here just yet, but it is so blonde! My girl Inva {at Arrojo} did it… it’s been a big adjustment but I really love it! And also since a few of you asked on insta, my boots are the Stuart Weitzman 50/50. I got ’em on sale, and now they are half off!
{At the front gate of Trinity}
{We had a leisurely lunch at Fallon & Byrne. We may have gone through two carafes of Prosecco. Oops. That’s what days off are for, though… right?}
{Stopping for coffee at Bewley’s at the Powerscourt Townhouse shopping centre.}
We ended the day with dinner at Molloy’s – a classic Dublin pub.
photos by Aly Harte, mostly… and a few are from my iPhone.
Always wanted to go to Ireland. That jigsaw building looks really cool

It looks like so much fun! The city looks beautiful, need to add it to my list!
I wanted to go to Dublin when I studied in Oxford but never made it! Such gorgeous photos (loving your hair).
I wasn’t a big fan of Dublin but it was also cold and pouring when we were there. Hard to get excited about exploring a new city when you are soaked (to your underwear!) and freezing.
Looks like an amazing trip!! Great photos, thanks for sharing!!
These pictures are fantastic! And I’m just bummed the sale 5050’s aren’t in my size!
Love these great pics! Your boots are amazing and your hair looks fabulous…

Dublin is one of my favorite cities! My husband is from two hours southeast of Dublin so we always spend a day or so there when we visit his hometown, it never seems like long enough.
Lovely photos! Looks like such a beautiful city!
