When planning out my holiday party outfits (how is it already time to even think about) my outfits tend to fall into two categories: tighter, more constricting pieces (usually for when I’m only making a drive by and will be home in my PJs within an hour or two) or comfy (but still chic!) things for when I know I am in it for the long haul. Today’s outfit falls firmly in the latter category. It’s so darn comfortable I could also lounge around in it!
These pants are everything… and I’m not even a pants person. The metallic silver piping down the side makes them dressy (festive, even?) but the elastic waist and super soft fabric means maximum comfort. I could totally see myself wearing them with a sequined top or maybe this velvet camisole (which I also own) to a holiday party. And this crushed velvet top is just 90’s amazingness all around. I love the built in choker and (notice a theme with this outfit?) how soft it is!
Macy’s has so many cute emerald green (my favorite color) things right now. Besides this top and the aforementioned camisole, I also adore this velvet cold shoulder top, this sheath dress with a fun side ruffle, and this bell sleeve dress.

Heh, I’m also not a pants person but I also see the “potential” of your pants! They’re so elegant, trendy and can be dressed up or down. I love the way you’ve styled it all together.
