As you know from the past few weeks, I am just obsessed with French Style – and the book, Parisian Chic, by Ines de la Fressange. One of my favorite parts of the book is Chapter Two, The Not-so-Basics. She refers to these pieces as the “Magnificent Seven.” The non-negotiable items that everyone must own, the essentials to chic, Parisian Style. I thought it would be fun to do a little series around each of these items. We’ve already conquered the first four items… the blazer, the classic trench, navy sweater, the tank top, and the little black dress. Today, we move on to the leather jacket.
Now, a good leather jacket will set you back a bit of money, but in my opinion, it is worth it. The leather jacket is something you will own forever. It gets better with age. The leather softens, contours to your body, takes on your shape.

I really enjoyed reading through your tips. I’ll be checking that book out now.
