This outfit was the outfit I was probably most excited to shoot while in Bermuda. During my banana leaf rampage, I found this set (top + skirt) on ASOS. It was one of those ASOS purchases where you cross your fingers and hope it will work, but don’t get too excited about. I really wasn’t sure how it would look on me, if it would fit, or if it would be too young, but it works, and because the skirt is a bit high-waisted… you only show just a little sliver of skin. It had sold out in a lot of sizes, but it’s now back in stock – I highly recommend snapping it up!
We shot these photos before dinner at Waterlot, which was far and away my favorite meal of the trip. If you visit Bermuda, it’s a must… if only for the sticky toffee pudding!
I hope you guys are having a good week. I have a busy day – shoots + meetings, and then I head to Connecticut later today for some family time. Tomorrow morning, our youngest sister (a PhD candidate at Yale) is presenting her dissertation, so the whole family is going to watch. So cool! I’m not entirely sure what to expect but I’m so proud of her.
PS – check out more banana leaf amazingness! Also… a few more fun finds for you: I may have gone a little palm print crazy, but if I hadn’t, I would be all over this pink & green slipdress, this fit and flare dress, and this cute green & white shift. This print is just perfect for summer.
