I said in today’s earlier post but man – this weekend was just too short! I thought it would be fun to round up a few of the highlights as this was a particularly fun one.
On Saturday, I got a hair cut! First hair cut in way too long. I think I last cut it in the Fall? So bad. My friend Alex swears by Fred(rique) at Marie Robinson, so I gave it a try. And honestly, it might just have been the best hair cut of my life. She managed to get it healthy without cutting off too much length… and cut into it with a razor to get rid of the bulk. After the cut she blew my hair out into easy, messy waves and I left the salon feeling like a new human. Obsessed. I also got my lashes done… this time trying out a new place – Eye-lure, in Soho. It’s kinda amazing how much better you feel after a hair cut… not to mention lashes.
I did a lot of running around in my pineapple Bucketfeet. What do you think? My style runs a bit dressier, so I wasn’t sure how I’d feel about the slip on sneaker trend… but they are so comfy! I wear mine with casual dresses or cut-offs.
Also on Saturday, I had a fun little afternoon of day drinking with some of my favorite ladies. B Bar is one of my summer staples — the outdoor space is so cute and they have extremely yummy food {if you go, get the cauliflower. I know I sound crazy but it is. so. good.} I wore this kind of crazy but kind of amazing dress… my latest obsession, thanks to Julia. It is just so fun… truly the happiest dress. Needless to say, a lot of snacks were consumed, and even more rosé was drank. Day drinking at B Bar was followed by dinner {and more wine} at Gemma… and bed at midnight.
Sunday was spent {recovering} cleaning, packing, and working on the blog… uneventful but necessary after such a fun Saturday! I did a big beauty product purge {so needed} but one thing is for sure – it’s safe to say that I’m a little bit Le Labo obsessed.
PS – all snaps came from Instagram. Be sure to follow along!
Day drinking on a Saturday afternoon is the best! I need to do makeup purge. I’ve been trying to “use up” everything I have before I commit to buying more 🙂

I adore the pineapple slip ons. So wonderful & fun. :] // itsCarmen.com ☼
Hmmmm your hair looks very pretty!! BUT. No razors – that is the shortcut stylists take to avoid spending the time to do an undercut (which is the right way to get rid of bulk!) I always use that as a true measure of a good hairstylist – something I learned from working in the hair industry for many years 🙂
nice 🙂

Grace, you are so right. A haircut can change your life. Okay, maybe that’s a bit dramatic, but it’s a game changer for sure, and yours looks lovely. Oh, and I’m allllll about the slip-on sneaker trend. I even wear mine to work…at a law firm. My bosses can get over it!
Your hair looks amazing! Seriously extra-stunning!
Love your hair! So cute. I’m also very bummed that I waited to buy one of the necklaces from your Bauble Bar collection, because of course it sold out. Saver’s remorse!

Not to worry, more will be back soon! I believe the necklaces are all at least on pre-sell now!
I love the dresses you are wearing and sharing on instagram! How cute your cat is:)
