Joie Dress (old, but similar) // J.Crew cardigan (old, but similar) // Loro Piana Scarf (old, but similar)
Boots (similar) // DIY Earrings// Rebecca Minkoff Bag
I wore this outfit last weekend when Stefan and I were out and about, wandering through the farmer’s market. Fall is now in full swing but I’m not completely ready to say goodbye to all of my summer pieces. My favorite way to make a bright summer dress Fall appropriate is to add a cardigan, cozy scarf, and tall boots. (No need for tights, just yet.) This Joie dress is/was one of my summer favorites and I love how it looks paired with my striped cardigan and brown boots. The boots are a new fave. They were a birthday gift from Stefan. He picked them out all on his own and they couldn’t be more perfect. And the bag, I’ve had for ages and ages. Like, before I had a blog, ages. I reach for it constantly, despite the fact that it’s pretty darn beat up by now.
You look so cozy – love the neutrals you added to this bright dress and those boots are gorgeous!

love those boots 🙂
LOVE your bag! 🙂
I’m really happy it’s turning fall so that everyone is wearing what I have to wear all year long here in San Francisco! I love getting transition ideas, as I tend to not shop at all during the spring/summer because I have no idea how to make it appropriate for our weather here. But I love how the floaty bright dress looks with a cardigan and jeans. Thanks for the idea!
SO cute! Love the layers, and major props to Stefan for picking out those gorgeous boots!
