Outfit: Lover

LOVER_3Emerson Fry Coat (sold out, this is a great lightweight alternative!) // Current/Elliot Jeans // YSL Heels

DIY Clutch // Lancome “Fierry Attitude” Lipstick (my current favorite)

These photos were taken on a very cold day where I decided to wear open-toed heels.  Really, really smart.  I’m surprised I didn’t get sick, but honestly… sometimes you just have to wear what you want to wear.  Up top, I was warm + cozy… (is there anything better than this sweatshirt trend?  I’m so happy that it’s become acceptable to throw on a cozy sweatshirt and glam it up with a sparkly necklace + heels.)  And about that sweatshirt… I couldn’t be more proud of my pal Meg Biram.  This is her second Manifesto creation and I love it even more than the first (remember this?)  Obsessed.

I think this is my favorite way I’ve seen her sweatshirt styled yet – and I’m really digging this red & olive green color combo…might give it a try! 🙂

I love the bright pink lipstick and necklace with the sweatshirt! I would totally rock my sequin sweatshirt if I was back in NYC.
I also remember the post-college days when I would freeze my butt off for Saturday night parties (for some reason my friends and I never wanted to deal with coat check). At least only your feet are cold but you still look fabulous!

Cute sweatshirt!! I love the lucite bag, but I would be worried someone would see my cash in there and try to steal it. I guess you generally assume that everyone’s purse has cash in it though.

I’m loving the sweatshirt trend too. Yours is really cute. It’s nice to see someone wearing a graphic sweatshirt in a color that isn’t gray (I usually gravitate toward gray – but the red is refreshing!)

Everyone else here wears flip flips most of the year. I avoid open toed shoes like the plague during the winter.
