I love polka dots. Always have, always will. This blog was actually almost named Stripes & Polka Dots… but sequins won out. I wore this outfit to work last week on one of those busy days where I wanted to look a bit more professional than usual. I bought the dress for all of $41.00 at my friend Nicole’s gorgeous boutique after seeing how she styled it. Funny story about the shoes. They are six years old. I bought them when I was 25 with my close friend’s double discount at Saks. I think I paid around $250 for them. I’ve since had them resoled a few times (there is a great little cobbler in Chelsea (NYC) that will add a thin rubber red sole to the bottom) and reheeled countless times. They were the first nice pair of shoes I ever bought myself, and have carried me through countless presentations, happy hours, cocktail parties, and late nights. It just goes to show the importance of taking care of your nice things. As for the necklace, it is BaubleBar (borrowed from work.) I might not give it back.
Love your necklace, so pretty.
xx Tanya
Love that the polka dots on the dress are metallic so it’s a little more “sophisticated” and that necklace is amazing!

That dress is sensational!
You look great! I totally got inspired by one of my favourite blogs yesterday and posted about the three colour dressing today: http://www.beautyjamaica.com/2012/10/three-colour-dressing.html
This is such a cute look. Chic and office appropriate but still playful. The dress is lovely.

um…could you look anymore amazing in this dress?! I think not! And that bag is amazing in red! Big hugs. xo
I would NEVER want to give that necklace back – it is super fab!! And I love that you’ve kept those pricey shoes in great condition throughout the years. I own one pair of Jimmy Choo heels that are simple in style and tan bc I knew if I was spending that kind of money – they weren’t going to be trendy and something I could only wear once in a blue moon! I wanted to be able to bust them out whenever I could!
Super cute and I love your outfit. Great bag too!
omg… i LOVE that dress. pink and sparkly and polka dots? HELL YES.
this is good, but when the day coming,we really don’t have any other choice
