BCBG Dress // Private Label Necklace // Jessica Simpson Heels

For my second look with Nordstrom Rack, the theme was Day to Night Dressing. I wore this to work on Tuesday, and then out to a cocktail party after. When I know that I’m headed out after work, I almost always rely on a pretty dress. BCBG makes some of my favorites, so I was thrilled to see that Rack carried such a huge selection. I chose this one because I loved the drape of the fabric… and the bold color. It’s also a little bit seventies. Maybe this is a stretch, but I feel like Bianca Jagger would have worn it back in her heyday. The cut makes it conservative enough for the office, but the color makes it easily transition to after-work fanciness.
I accessorized with a long chain necklace (I like the way the length of this one complements the fluidity of the dress,) and killer heels… still can’t believe how comfortable these Jessica Simpson platforms are… in all seriousness, they rival my YSLs.

I’m a big fan of Nordstrom Rack. There’s a fabulous one by my parents’ house with a lot of high-end designer finds – I once grabbed a pair of Fendi heels for $70 (!), and always walk out with a great find. They even have associates who can help ring up the bill, without me ever having to wait in line. That sort of service is always a plus in my books.
