Outfit: Cooler Than Me

SNEAKER_6

PJK Jacket (also here) // Madewell Tee (in stores) // Rag & Bone Jeans (my go-to – so slimming!)

Ash Sneaker Wedges // Vince Camuto Clutch // Celine Sunglasses

Let’s just talk about this whole sneaker-wedge trend for a second.  I have a lot of cooler-than-me friends who can very easily pull these bad boys off.  Alicia, Christin, and Sara (amongst others) come to mind.  In general, I’m just not really a sneakers girl, and didn’t think I could pull ’em off.  And then these sneakers arrived in the mail… a gift from the brand.  I was immediately nervous to try them, but laced ’em up anyway, just to see.  And seriously guys – I didn’t want to take them off.  Ever.  Not only are they incredibly comfortable, but they also make me feel kind of badass + cool.  Consider me converted.

PS – how good is this jacket?  I’m obsessed.  It just had to be said.

That jacket is so nice! I love how it is using two trends, the rick owens leather jacket trend and the army green trend. All rolled into one awesome jacket, that looks comfy and stylish. Love it with the floral tee. You can def pull off the wedge sneaker!

LOL, truth. Love the wedge on you and think it’s so practical/chic for NYC but think I’d look nuts in suburbia… haven’t really seen the trend though think it’s kind of cool… for others. 🙂
