One Blazer, Two Ways

My pals at Robert Rodriguez sent me this jacket and I can not stop wearing it.  My taste is pretty simple and this elevates whatever I wear it with.  Jeans, slouchy tees + tanks, or {in both instances here} all black.  And don’t even get me started on the zippers on the back.  They are everything.  I feel infinitely cooler when I wear this jacket!

Pop on over to the Robert Rodriguez blog to see the feature I did for them… and guys, happy Thursday… we’re almost there!

I love the contrasting sleeves! That’s one of my favorite details on a jacket or blazer. So cute.

I adore the leather sleeve trend right now, be it a blazer, sweatshirt or jacket it just makes me happy. I feel a lot of girls struggle wearing leather in their everyday life so this mix is perfect for work or a night out. Very cute!

I’m a firm believer that a good jacket can really make an outfit (which would explain why my closet is almost all jackets haha) and this jacket definitely makes your outfit!

I truly love this blazer. As a thrifer I often come across a lot of unique blazers… needless to say the 80’s were quite the bold times.. I always manage to fall in love with one and I end up buying it but the thing is a I cannot learn how to wear one for the life of me. I love this outfit and can learn a lot on how to wear a creative blazer without looking like a train wreck. There are not many clothes I cannot figure out how to pull of but a blazer is deff at the top of the list. Keep up the amazing posts!
