I don’t know about you guys, but Taylor and Blair have me dying for a cargo vest. Dying. You can wear it over anything – be it a sequin mini dress or a pair of cut-offs and a beat up tee. It’s great with slouchy pieces, and also perfect for casual-izing fancier things.
What’s more is that Old Navy has the perfect version, for only $35. Alas, I am on a shopping ban, so I can’t even spend a measly $35 right now! (Let’s hope that come September 27th – a.k.a. my 30th birthday, when I am allowed to shop again, they still have it in stock.)
In the meantime, I came up with what I think is a pretty genius solution. I took last spring’s cargo jacket, and just cut the sleeves off. (Pictures to come.) I love my creation… wore it (seriously) this weekend with a sequin skirt and striped tee and felt pretty great about my outfit!
